New Garage in Linköping

Mid of September, after one year of planning and construction, the new garage, workshop and wheel storage building has been opened. With a total area of more than 850 m², space for 20 cars and approximately 1600 wheels, it will improve the efficiency and working conditions for NIRA’s testing department fundamentally.

The garage has four tracks of which three are fitted with lifts, the fourth one being suitable even for trucks up to a height of 4,6 m. A car wash cabin, equipment storage and some office space complete the picture. The building is supplied by district heating which is both environmental friendly and cost efficient. The outdoor parking slots are sight protected and the ground is heated to prevent icing during the cold Swedish winter. The garage can also be separated into sections so that confidentiality is always secured.
